1. CWR06: Broad MIL-PRF-55365/4 Coverage

The CWR06 is a conformal-coated TANTAMOUNT™ capacitor qualified to MIL-PRF-55365/4. It offers the widest voltage range of the three series, covering 4 VDC through 50 VDC.

According to the Vishay CWR06 datasheet, the series supports capacitance values from 0.10 µF to 100 µF and case codes A through H.

CWR06 also provides the broadest choice of reliability levels:

  • Weibull failure rates B, C, D and T

  • Exponential failure rates M, P, R and S

  • Optional surge-current testing

  • Gold and multiple SnPb termination finishes

Choose CWR06 when the design requires MIL-PRF-55365/4 compliance, voltage ratings up to 50 VDC or a specific exponential failure-rate option.

2. CWR16: Extended-Range MIL-PRF-55365/13 Capacitor

CWR16 is qualified to MIL-PRF-55365/13 and expands the available capacitance range to 330 µF. It uses the same general conformal-coated construction and A-to-H case-code system as CWR06.

CWR26 is also qualified to MIL-PRF-55365/13, but it is optimized for lower ESR. Its catalog is more focused, covering selected capacitance and voltage combinations in F, G and H cases.
