Description: Broadband coaxial RF detectors that convert microwave input power into a measurable voltage without requiring an external diode-bias supply.
The KRYTAR 303B and 303BK are zero-bias Schottky detectors designed for RF and microwave measurements from 100MHz to 40GHz. They are suitable for detecting continuous-wave, modulated and pulsed RF signals in test equipment, radar systems and monitoring circuits.
Both models provide the same basic electrical performance and use a BNC female output connector. The difference is the RF input interface: the 303B uses a 2.4mm male connector, while the 303BK uses a 2.92mm K male connector.
The zero-bias design does not require an external DC bias supply for the detector diode, simplifying use in laboratory instruments, subsystem assemblies and passive monitoring applications.

303 Series vs 301 Series
The KRYTAR 303 Series extends to 40GHz, while the 301 Series covers up to 20GHz.
Choose the 303 Series when the application extends beyond 20GHz or requires a single detector for broadband measurements through Ka band. Choose the 301 Series when the operating range remains below 20GHz and 40GHz coverage is unnecessary.
Connector type, output connector, polarity and measurement response should also be checked before substitution.
