  Xilinx UltraScale FPGA Product Overview

  Xilinx UltraScale FPGAs are high-performance programmable logic devices designed for demanding applications that require large logic capacity, high-speed connectivity, advanced DSP performance and flexible system integration.   Key Features

  High Logic Density

  UltraScale FPGAs offer system logic cells from 318K up to 5,541K, supporting designs from mid-range embedded systems to very large and complex programmable logic platforms.

  Advanced DSP Performance

  The UltraScale architecture enhances the Xilinx DSP48 slice to improve calculation efficiency and performance. The product guide lists DSP slice counts up to 5,520 slices in the XCKU115 and up to 2,880 slices in the XCVU440.

  High-Capacity Block RAM

  UltraScale devices provide integrated Block RAM resources for buffering, data processing and high-throughput applications. The guide lists total Block RAM capacity up to 75.9 Mb in Kintex UltraScale and up to 132.9 Mb in Virtex UltraScale.

  High-Speed Serial Connectivity

  UltraScale devices support high-speed serial transceivers for backplane, optical module and high-bandwidth interface designs. According to the product guide, GTH transceivers support up to 16.3 Gb/s, while GTY transceivers support up to 30.5 Gb/s in applicable Virtex UltraScale devices.
