Broadcom PEX8724, PEX8717, PEX8716, PEX8714, PEX8713 and PEX8712 are compact PCIe Gen3 switch ICs for systems that require moderate lane count and flexible PCIe connectivity. These models are suitable for embedded computers, industrial controllers, communication boards, test equipment and PCIe add-in card designs.
The series covers 24-lane, 16-lane and 12-lane options. This gives engineers more flexibility when selecting a PCIe switch based on system size, endpoint quantity and power budget.
