Delta THB fans are high-performance DC axial fans designed for applications requiring high airflow, strong static pressure and controllable cooling performance.
The THB range includes compact 60 mm fans, standard 120 mm square fans, 140 mm and 172 × 150 mm models, as well as large 170 mm and 200 mm round-frame fans. Rated-voltage options include 12V, 24V and 48V DC.
Many THB models use ball-bearing systems and four-wire interfaces that provide PWM speed control and tachometer feedback. These features allow the host system to adjust fan speed according to temperature or workload while monitoring whether the fan is operating normally.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Delta THB and standard DC fans?
THB models are generally designed for higher airflow and static-pressure requirements. Many models also use PWM control, tachometer feedback, ball bearings and deeper or metal-frame structures.
Can a 120 × 120 × 25.4 mm fan replace a 120 × 120 × 38 mm fan?
Not automatically. The mounting length and width may be the same, but the thicker fan can provide substantially different pressure, airflow and power consumption.
Can a 12V THB fan replace a 24V or 48V model?
No. A fan must be compatible with the equipment supply voltage. Installing a fan with an incorrect rated voltage may prevent startup or damage the fan.
Is THB1548AG still active?
No. Delta issued an EOL notice effective August 15, 2025 and did not identify an official replacement model.
Can another brand replace a Delta THB fan?
A compatible alternative may be available, but the mechanical dimensions, airflow, pressure, current, PWM interface, tachometer signal and environmental rating must all be validated.
