KRYTAR 10–67GHz Millimeter-Wave Directional Couplers
KRYTAR 10–67 GHz Millimeter-Wave Directional Couplers
The KRYTAR 110067 series provides ultra-wideband directional coupling from 10 to 67 GHz in a compact coaxial package. Covering frequencies from the X band through the lower V band, the series supports broadband signal sampling across microwave and millimeter-wave test systems.
Available nominal coupling values include 6, 10, 16, 20 and 30 dB. Every model uses 1.85 mm female connectors and supports 20 W average input power, making the series suitable for radar, SATCOM, electronic warfare, mmWave communications, amplifier testing and broadband measurement equipment.

For the 110067006, the specified secondary-line VSWR is 1.8 from 10 to 50 GHz and 2.3 from 50 to 67 GHz.
The insertion loss figures include power transferred to the coupled port. This is particularly relevant to the 6 dB model, which intentionally samples a substantial proportion of the main-line power.

KRYTAR 6–67GHz vs. 10–67GHz Couplers
The 106067 and 110067 families use the same main coupling values and 1.85 mm connector type. The primary selection difference is the required lower frequency.
| Series | Frequency Range | Coupling Options | Connector | Selection Reason |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KRYTAR 106067 Series | 6–67 GHz | 6, 10, 16, 20, 30 dB | 1.85 mm female | Coverage from 6 to 10 GHz is required |
| KRYTAR 110067 Series | 10–67 GHz | 6, 10, 16, 20, 30 dB | 1.85 mm female | The operating band begins at or above 10 GHz |
Do not select between the two families using frequency range alone. Compare the exact coupling accuracy, frequency sensitivity, directivity, insertion loss and VSWR of the required coupling model.
The corresponding model relationship is:
| 6–67 GHz Model | 10–67 GHz Model | Coupling |
|---|---|---|
| KRYTAR 106067006 | KRYTAR 110067006 | 6 dB |
| KRYTAR 106067010 | KRYTAR 110067010 | 10 dB |
| KRYTAR 106067016 | KRYTAR 110067016 | 16 dB |
| KRYTAR 106067020 | KRYTAR 110067020 | 20 dB |
| KRYTAR 106067030 | KRYTAR 110067030 | 30 dB |
These models should not be treated as automatic replacements without checking the required lower frequency and the complete electrical specifications.
