MDM-9SSB ITT Cannon 9-Position Micro-D Receptacle
MDM-9SSB is a 9-position female Micro-D receptacle from the ITT Cannon MDM metal-shell connector series. It uses gold-plated socket contacts with solder-cup terminations and unthreaded mounting holes.
The connector places nine signal contacts on a 0.050-inch (1.27 mm) pitch, providing a compact alternative to conventional D-sub connectors where panel space and equipment weight are limited.
Its aluminum shell provides mechanical protection and EMI/RFI shielding, while the polarized Micro-D interface prevents incorrect mating. MDM connectors are widely used in aerospace, defense, satellites, instrumentation, medical equipment and high-reliability industrial systems.
Core Advantages
Compact nine-contact Micro-D interface with a 1.27 mm contact pitch
Solder-cup contacts support custom cable assembly without factory-installed wire leads
Aluminum shell and polarized interface provide mechanical protection and EMI/RFI shielding
