QPA2811 is primarily designed for:
X-Band radar
AESA radar
Phased-array radar
Military radar systems
Surveillance radar
High-power X-Band transmitters
Its combination of high output power, gain and efficiency makes it particularly suitable for radar transmitter stages requiring 50W-class or higher RF power.
QPA2811 vs Lower-Power Qorvo X-Band Amplifiers
Qorvo provides several X-Band GaN amplifiers covering different output-power requirements.
| Model | Frequency | Output Power | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| QPA2610 | 8.5–10.5GHz | >2W | Low-power / phased-array channels |
| QPA2611 | 8–12GHz | >5W | Medium-power X-Band |
| QPA2612 | 8–12GHz | >12W | Higher-power radar |
| QPA1111 | 8.5–10.5GHz | ~30W | High-power radar |
| QPA2811 | 8.5–10.55GHz | ~60W | Very high-power radar |
For systems requiring more output power than QPA1111 or QPA2612, QPA2811 provides a significant increase in RF output while retaining a compact packaged MMIC format.
