Description: 2kW single-phase/three-phase PFC module with regulated 365VDC non-isolated output.
The Pico HPHA2 is a high-power AC-input power factor correction module designed to provide a regulated 365VDC bus from single-phase or three-phase AC sources. With output power up to 2kW in a compact full-brick package, it is suitable for high-density industrial, aerospace, laser and motor-control power systems.
The HPHA2 accepts an 85–250VAC single-phase input or a 165–250VAC three-phase input. Its 47–440Hz input-frequency range also supports applications using aircraft and other high-frequency AC power systems.

Single-Phase and Three-Phase Operation
The HPHA2 can be used with either single-phase or three-phase AC input:
Single-phase input: 85–250VAC
Three-phase input: 165–250VAC
Supported frequency: 47–440Hz
This input flexibility allows one PFC module to support conventional industrial mains supplies as well as higher-frequency AC sources used in selected aerospace and defense power systems.
The module converts the AC input into a regulated 365VDC bus. Because the output is non-isolated, applications requiring galvanic isolation should add an appropriate isolated DC-DC converter after the HPHA2.
Using HPHA2 as a DC-DC Front End
The regulated 365VDC output can serve as the front end for compatible Pico high-voltage-input DC-DC converters. Depending on the selected downstream converter, the complete power architecture can provide isolated outputs ranging from low-voltage rails to several hundred volts.
