The Vishay SMDY1…S series brings certified ceramic safety capacitance to automated surface-mount production. Unlike conventional radial safety capacitors, these components are supplied on tape and reel and support reflow soldering, helping manufacturers reduce manual assembly while maintaining reinforced insulation and mains-related safety performance.
