Description: 9.9–11.2GHz ×16 active frequency multiplier with +7dBm typical output power, low additive phase noise and greater than 25dBc subharmonic suppression for X-band LO generation.
The HMC445LP4E is a compact ×16 active frequency multiplier designed to generate X-band local oscillator signals from a lower-frequency input. It combines multiple multiplication stages in one surface-mount device, reducing the number of discrete multipliers, amplifiers and filters required in a conventional LO chain.
Output power remains relatively stable against changes in input power, temperature and supply voltage. The device is suitable for microwave systems that require a compact frequency-multiplication stage with controlled output power and low additive phase noise.
