Description:UMS provides integrated RF control ICs for S-band and X-band radar front ends. This selection includes the CHC3014-99F X-band receive/transmit core chip and the CHP1102 S-band 6-bit phase shifter family.The CHC3014-99F integrates receive and transmit signal paths, phase and amplitude control, RF switching, buffers and TTL-compatible parallel interfaces. The CHP1102-98F and CHP1102-QGG combine a 6-bit phase shifter with input and output amplifiers, providing 10 dB gain across 2.7–3.4 GHz.

CHC3014-99F X-Band Core Chip

The CHC3014-99F is designed for 8–12 GHz electronically controlled radar front ends. It integrates:

Receive and transmit signal paths

6-bit phase shifter

6-bit fine attenuator

Additional 2-bit tuning attenuator

RF switch and self-biased buffers

TTL-compatible parallel control interfaces

Its phase shifter covers 0–360° with 5.625° steps. The fine attenuator provides up to 34.65 dB adjustment with 0.55 dB steps, while the additional tuning attenuator provides 6 dB adjustment.

CHP1102 S-Band Phase Shifters

The CHP1102-98F and CHP1102-QGG are active 6-bit phase shifters designed for 2.7–3.4 GHz radar systems. Both devices integrate amplifiers at the RF input and output and support TTL-compatible parallel control.

They provide a complete 360° phase range with 5.625° resolution. The CHP1102-98F is supplied as a bare Die, while the CHP1102-QGG is available in a RoHS-compliant 5 × 5 mm QFN package.
