SOURIAU UTS Series connectors are lightweight, full-plastic circular connectors designed for outdoor equipment and industrial systems exposed to water, dust, UV radiation, vibration and chemical agents. Typical applications include renewable energy equipment, outdoor lighting, telecommunications, industrial automation, water treatment and railway systems.
The UTS Series uses a quick 1/3-turn bayonet coupling with an audible click to confirm correct mating. Depending on the selected configuration, it can carry signal, power, mixed power/signal or fiber-optic connections.
Standard UTS configurations provide IP68/IP69K protection when correctly assembled and mated. UTS Hi Seal versions are available for applications that must remain sealed even when the plug and receptacle are disconnected. Eaton also specifies UV-resistant materials and 250 mating cycles for the series.


What Do IP68 and IP69K Mean?
The IP rating identifies the level of protection against solid particles and water.

Are all SOURIAU UTS connectors IP68/IP69K when unmated?
No. Standard configurations may depend on the connector being correctly assembled and mated. Select a UTS Hi Seal model or use the specified sealing cap when the connector must remain waterproof while disconnected.
Are contacts included with a UTS connector?
It depends on the part number. Models with preloaded solder or PCB contacts normally include the contacts. Standard crimp housings are often supplied without contacts, allowing the contact type and wire range to be selected separately.
